Faded colours, dazzling bright lights and halos around street lights…
This is what Helen noticed in her vision before she sought help.
She coped but then her vision deteriorated significantly.
Helen had developed cataracts – cloudy patches that form in the lens of the eye and cause blurry vision. She coped but then her vision deteriorated significantly.
“I had cataracts then lost my sight quite suddenly. Now I only see shadows,” Helen said.
Her unexpected change in vision caused Helen to reach out to Guide Dogs Queensland.
