The phone call that changed everything!

Good news can come when you least expect it, and for Susie the phone call she received from Guide Dogs really did come just when her family needed it.

Susie’s husband was recently in an accident that left him unable to ride his motorcycle which was is usual mode of transport. Then came a call telling her she had won first prize in the Guide Dogs lottery – a brand new Hyundai Tuscon!

“When Guide Dogs called to tell me I had won, I couldn’t believe it. I thought someone was playing a joke on me,” Susie said.

“It was like everything just fell into place. We were really in need of a car and then I received the call.

“I couldn’t wait to call my daughter and husband. I just wanted to scream, cry and jump up and down with happiness!”

Susie has been a member of the exclusive Platinum Paw Club for two years, generously supporting Guide Dogs with regular lottery ticket purchases.
