It’s one of our favourite times of year and Graduation 2023 did not disappoint!

Hosted by our Acting CEO, Jock Beveridge and attended by the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Graduation Day is a special reminder to us all why we do the work that we do.

This year, we celebrated 8 graduating Guide Dog teams and 8 Clients who graduated across a range of our programs including Orientation and Mobility long cane skills, Occupational Therapy programs and Assistive Technology.

Client Guest Speaker, Rhett Bryant, moved the room to tears with his heartfelt and genuine speech, providing an overview of his personal vision story and journey with Guide Dogs.

It was great to see so many Clients, puppy raisers, volunteers, staff, supporters and other special guests come together to celebrate the achievements of so many in our Guide Dogs community.

Thank you to everyone who came along and congratulations to all our Graduates for 2023!
