Exciting Social Lawn Bowls Opportunities: Geebung and Caloundra

For all lawn bowls enthusiasts, there’s an exciting opportunity to join the Queensland Blind Bowls Association (QBBA) for social days at the Geebung Bowls Club every Monday, as well as a new chance to get involved at The Waves Club Caloundra on Thursdays. Whether you are an individual lawn bowler or want to bring along a family member, friend, or carer to assist with sight guidance, everyone is welcome.

The QBBA’s social day at Geebung Bowls Club has been a fantastic weekly event, offering a relaxed, supportive environment for players of all abilities to come together and enjoy a game of lawn bowls. Held every Monday at 8:30am, it’s a great way for both experienced and newer players to get involved and meet others in the community.

Now, there’s an exciting expansion to The Waves Club Caloundra for those who are on the Sunshine Coast and looking to get involved! This new session offers participants the chance to join a social game every Thursday at 9:00am.

For just a small fee of $10, you’ll get to hire the green and borrow bowls, ensuring you have everything you need to enjoy the game.
