The Puppy Pals refer a friend promotion commences at 9AM AEST on Monday the 22nd of May 2023 and closes at 11:59PM Sunday the 23rd of July 2023 (the Entry Period). No entries will be accepted after this time.

1. The promoter of this competition (Competition) is Guide Dogs Queensland (ABN 89 009 739 664) of 1978 Gympie Road, Bald Hills QLD phone (07) 3500 9001 (the Promoter).
2. When you refer a friend who is a new Puppy Pal to Guide Dogs Queensland (“Referred Puppy Pal”), you will receive one (1) free Guide Dogs sticker of your choice that will be posted to you after the first donation of the Referred Puppy Pal has been processed and one (1) entry into the draw to win a meet and greet for both yourself and the Referred Puppy Pal.  A new Puppy Pal is defined as a friend or family member of a current Puppy Pal who does not at the time of referral have an active Puppy Pal membership and has not had an active Puppy Pal membership within the past 12 calendar months.
3. Any Referred Puppy Pal who signs up within the entry period directly from your referral will also receive one (1) free Guide Dogs sticker of their choice that will be sent with their Puppy Pal Kit after their first donation.
4. Instructions on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, which may be amended from time to time.
5. This promotion is open to all Queensland residents who refer a friend who signs up to become a Puppy Pal, and opt in to enter the prize draw and provide their contact details during the Entry Period.
6. You must be over 18 years of age to enter.
7. Employees of the Promoter, as well as members of their immediate family, are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
8. There is a limit of one entry per person. One entry includes both the referrer and the Referred Puppy Pal.
9. An Entry will be deemed as submitted when a new Puppy Pal includes an existing Puppy Pals name in the “refer a friend” box of the Puppy Pal sign up form and signs up to be a Puppy Pal.
10. A prize will be awarded to 1 referrer and their friend (Referred Puppy Pal) at random (Winner).
11. The prize consists of 1 puppy meet and greet at Guide Dogs Queensland (1978 Gympie Rd, Bald Hills, QLD) on a date to be agreed upon by the Promoter and the Winner and will be dependent on the timing of puppies available on-site at Guide Dogs.
12. Available times and dates for the puppy meet and greet will be during business hours (8:30am – 4:30pm) Monday to Friday.
13. Prizes are not transferable or cannot be exchanged for cash.
14. The Winner will be notified via phone call by Friday the 28th July 2023.
15. The Promoter will contact the winner to schedule and arrange the Puppy meet and greet. A valid phone number must be provided in order to redeem the prize.
16. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and participant’s eligibility to receive the prize.
17. Both the Referred Puppy Pal and the existing Puppy Pal must have an active membership at the time of the draw or their entry will be deemed invalid.
18. The Promoter’s determination of the Winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Competition and for other marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available at https://qld.guidedogs.com.au/privacy-policy/.
20. By entering this promotion, you consent to the Promoter using your name and Entry in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition, and promoting any products and services supplied by the Promoter.
