Have Your Say on Disability Discrimination Laws

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) is a commonwealth law that has been in force since 1992 with only one major review in 2009. The DDA makes it unlawful to discriminate against a person due to their disability in specific areas of public life.

The Commonwealth Government has released an Issues Paper seeking public input in to reforming and strengthening the Disability Discrimination Act.

Guide Dogs Australia is seeking your contribution to inform a submission to this review.

We kindly ask our community who are over 18, and are blind or have low vision to complete a short survey linked below to share your thoughts on what needs to change in the Disability Discrimination Act. The survey itself is three questions and four further on demographics.
