What is Workplace Giving?

Every year, people like you enable Guide Dogs to empower people with low vision or blindness to achieve the freedom they need to live an independent life.

Workplace or Payroll Giving is a great way to boost staff engagement and come together for a common cause, and, it’s super easy! Through the program, staff make regular donations to Guide Dogs direct from their pre-tax salary, and many employers choose to match their employees donations, which doubles the impact!

Not only is it a simple and effective way to support Guide Dogs, you also receive the tax benefit straight away – and no need to keep track of receipts!

Through Workplace Giving, a small regular donation from your pay can have a big impact!

How will you lead the way

Impact to Guide Dogs

While we’re best known for our iconic Guide Dogs, we also provide training and support to Queenslanders of all ages through orientation and mobility courses, programs for children, counselling, occupational therapy and much more.

Giving regularly through your pay is an easy way to help people with low vision or blindness navigate their world with confidence and independence.

Here are some examples of how your generosity could really count over a year:

  • $2 a fortnight can buy a long cane for a person living with low vision or blindness
  • $5 a fortnight can provide four enrichment packs for growing pups
  • $10 a fortnight can buy a harness for a working Guide Dog
  • $20 a fortnight can pay for five large beds for Guide Dogs-in-training.
