Wrap gifts, spread joy!

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to give back this Christmas?

We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help at our Christmas gift-wrapping stalls across South East Queensland.

You’ll help shoppers wrap their Christmas presents in exchange for a donation to Guide Dogs Queensland, while sharing some festive cheer with the community.

No expert gift-wrapping skills required, just a willingness to lend a helping paw!

Yellow Labrador Guide Dog wearing an orange harness sits beside a decorated Christmas tree, wrapped presents, a red Santa sack and a large gold ornament.

What to expect as a volunteer

As a Christmas gift-wrapping volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming and festive experience for shoppers.

Your role may include:

  • Wrapping Christmas presents for shoppers.
  • Chatting with members of the community.
  • Accepting cash and EFTPOS donations.
  • Keeping the gift-wrapping station tidy and stocked.

A few things to know:

  • Volunteers must be aged 12 or over.
  • Those under 16 must attend with a parent or guardian.
  • No previous experience is required.
