Visit us at the Ekka!

Guide Dogs Queensland are coming to the Ekka for a special day of activities and demonstrations with our talented Guide Dogs! Visit us at Stockmans Rest on Tuesday 12th August, from 9am – 5pm, shake a paw with our Ambassador dogs, and find out about the services we provide to Queenslanders with low vision or blindness. Come and learn about Braille and enjoy interactive games where you can experience the world with limited vision, and hear about some of the amazing assistive technologies available. You can also explore how to get more involved with us through volunteering, including becoming a puppy raiser. Our friendly staff will be on hand to answer any questions throughout the day.

Guide Dog Demonstrations will be held at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.

If you can’t make it on Tuesday 12th August – you can also visit our Guide Dogs merchandise stall any day during the Ekka.
