About the event
Make your mark: Personalise your white cane!
Join us at Bald Hills, Queensland this Thursday for a free, creative International White Cane Day activity, with lunch included!
Your white cane is an important tool for confidence, independence and getting around the world. Now, you can add a personal touch and make it uniquely yours!
To celebrate International White Cane Day, we’re inviting anyone who uses a white cane to join us at our Bald Hills site for a fun, hands-on arts and crafts workshop where you can decorate and personalise your cane.
From colourful patterns and name tags to glow-in-the-dark details and other creative materials, there will be plenty of ways to express your personality and make your cane your own.
Whether you have a clear idea in mind or want to see where your creativity takes you, come along, get creative and connect with others in the white cane community. The activity is completely free, and lunch is on us!
