Even Labradors have their limits!

Labradors are famous for their love of water, but the journey to North Stradbroke Island is just a little too far for our Collection Dogs to swim!

Thankfully, our long-time friends at SeaLink have them covered. For the past few years, SeaLink has generously provided in-kind barge travel to transport our Collection Dog van to and from North Stradbroke Island, ensuring our team and Collection Dogs can make the trip safely and with ease.

This support plays an important role in helping us connect with the island community and the many local businesses that proudly host Guide Dogs Queensland Collection Dogs. Every donation placed into a Collection Dog helps fund life-changing services for people living with low vision or blindness, making these visits an important part of our fundraising efforts.
