Youth Ambassador Program 2023

We are super excited to once again launch our Youth Ambassador Program for 2023!

We are searching for school age students to become CHAMPIONS for our Guide Dog pups. Do you know a student or school team who could take on the challenge?

This is a great opportunity for a student to make an impact in the community in support of Guide Dogs. This program is sure to engage students, while offering them a sense of purpose and achievement!

We have some amazing experiences and prizes up for grabs. Students can get involved individually or create a team with their school.

Last year, one of our Youth Ambassador teams raised an incredible $10,000. As a result, representatives from the school were invited to attend an onsite tour of the Guide Dogs campus where they took part in a blindfold afternoon tea, sighted guide experience, watched a live Guide Dog demo and met the newest litter of puppy recruits. To show our appreciation for their incredible efforts, they also had the opportunity to name their very own Guide Dog pup who they named ‘Hope’!

Our Youth Ambassador program will help provide vital services to people with low vision right across Queensland. Funds will also support our very special Guide Dog puppy nursery. This is a Guide Dog pup’s very first home. It is where our pups start their important journey to becoming a life-changing companion, providing freedom and independence to people living with low vision or blindness.
